2025-26 Season · Live Cap Sheet
Performance-based market value vs. actual pay, read through the 2023 CBA's actual mechanics — rookie scale, supermax tiers, Bird rights, and the apron system that's now reshaping every front office decision.
League salary structure, 2025-26
Every team's spending falls somewhere on this line. The two apron lines (added in the 2023 CBA) are hard behavioral cutoffs, not just tax penalties.

Coverage note: this dataset tracks ~100 of the league's highest-minute, highest-salary players (the ones that actually move the needle on cap sheets), not all 450+ roster spots. Team totals below are therefore a partial payroll — real total payroll and apron status will run higher. The production scraper in scrapers/ pulls full team pages to close this gap.
This is the part the 2022 version of this project never modeled at all — it only ever compared stats to a single salary number. Here's what actually governs what a player can be paid and how a team can build around them.
